Blue, gold, pink and green palette punctuated by twinkling dots of light...
For this bracelet I ended up picking elements and colours out of my childhood memories in
the Venetian countryside of long dusk walks with my grandmother.
We used to
be able to see the Milky Way on especially clear nights, and there used
to be lots of fireflies in the area - lights above and below at every
step -.
Sublime beauty? OTT ornament? YMMV. Definitely interesting. And definitely OTT skills.
Also some porcelain colours seems to be very popular both in Eastern and Western pieces. Not just the blues but some pink and greens especially... I spotted them among traditional and Peranakan pieces in Singapore a lot, in themselves both inspiration source and product of commercial and cultural exchanges. Makes for some exceptional eye candy as well as food for thought :)
